Last week he was releasing videos for “Shit Get Real” and “Squabbin,” and this week Figg returns with a push to to the next level with “Real Shit.” Right now the top isn’t far away as fans, media and the industry alike have taken note of Figg’s quick run of content and his push to the blogs.
This song is produced by Dave-O from Mozzy’s camp and according to Figg Newton is, “another in-depth narration of the inner city and the real shit that comes along with it.”
“‘Shit Get Real’ was produced by Larry Jayy and ‘Squabbin’ was produced by Paupa, who are two of the hottest up and coming producers in LA,” Figg Newton said. “Those are doing well, but ‘Still Wit The Bullshit’ has been taking off and creating a nice buzz around LA.”
All of the aforementioned songs find their home on Figg Newton’s Streets Won’t Let Me Chill 2 project which is now available on iTunes and circulating in the streets.
“Our first visual ‘Still With the Bullshit’ is taking off daily and not to mention “We Started The Woop” with Big Wy is at 250k so we are making some noise out here,” Figg Newton added. “Going forward we are def going to having events throughout the Summer to continue you the push and be involved in the community.”
Fans of Figg Newton can check him out hosting and performing on July 1st at CLUB 333.
Currently the Streets Wont Let Me Chill 2 is available on in iTunes an Apple Music, while the video is available on Figg Newton’s YouTube channel.
