Markuann Anthony Smith is an African American actor and television producer. He is the creator, executive producer of the upcoming American crime drama Godfather of Harlem (television) and plays a starring role in the series. Godfather of Harlem starring Forest Whitaker and is set to premiere on Epix in 2019.

Markuann has been working in the entertainment industry for almost twenty years. With an everlasting passion for acting, he has landed roles on the Chapelle Show, as well as films: Juice, Poetic Justice, Code Blue, and the award-winning short film A Good Day to Die.
