Every guy knows the demands that a lady puts on a relationship and every lady out there knows the risks and rewards of staying with a man as he tries to get his life in order.
That’s the familiar picture that Kamaar‘s most recent visual “Thatz Ya Loss” paints as the young South Central crooner steps out solo with a new R&B flavored track.
“Thats really how we met” Kamaar said of his management team that does a bit of comedic acting in the intro. “We tried to re-create a situation I was going through with one of my exes and it came together exactly how things happened in real life. That was word for word what she said, I didn’t want them to edit anything and I wanted people to see what I was going through at that moment.”
In the beginning fo the visual you can see that Kamaar is going through relationship troubles as he tries to please his girl while at the same time trying to get his career jumping. She wants to eat something fancy in Beverly Hills and he wants to try to sell his CD’s to the fans.
The LA native who garnered some attention in the Los Angeles streets the old school way by selling his CDs hand to hand has been legitimately supporting himself by selling his music in the streets and performing in local churches.
In addition he has been producing and songwriting for artists like Tank, Joe Moses and other indie acts that need his production an songwriting skills. Right now the young talent is focused on creating a cohesive project for fans that have quickly developed locally.
“I started off on guitar and piano in the church and I had to make things happen for me. I specialize in a few instruments, but I favor the piano,” Kamaar explained. “I’ve been in the streets promoting my music, social media and doing a few shows here and there, just looking to promote these records'” he added.
Fans of this song can expect to hear a full length project from Kamaar sometime before the year is up Executive Produced by his management team lead by Big Wy.
“He writes produces and mixes everything his own. He couldn’t get beats from other people, so he taught his self how to produce and work on things. Now he does everything by himself,” Big Wy explained.
